A glossary of bonus, slot and payment terms

A quick reference for every term in the Pakamia terms and lobby.

The language of bonuses

Before you claim any offer, it helps to know these terms. With the 100% up to KES 76,000 + 50 free spins welcome package and 35x wagering, the terms below are not theory.

• Rollover: how many times the bonus must be bet before cashout, at Pakamia 35x in 30 days
• Bonus balance: money from a bonus kept separate from real money until wagering is complete
• Weighting: the part of a stake that counts toward the rollover, usually full for slots
• Free spins: spins you do not pay for, with winnings subject to wagering
• Cashback: 10% of net losses credited weekly
• Bet cap: the most you may stake per round during bonus play, and breaking it can void the bonus

Slot terms

These terms come from the rules and paytable of a slot. They explain why two similar-looking slots can behave so differently. Jackpot slots add a few terms of their own, covered in a separate guide.

A few more game words

A demo is a free version of the game for practice. The wild: a symbol that replaces others so that a combination pays. Hit frequency describes how regularly a game pays out. Scatters pay regardless of position and frequently start the feature.

Cashier and account words

These words appear whenever you deposit or withdraw. Most of them relate to timing, checks and limits.

Payout window: 12 hours to 3 business days from request to payment. Pending status means the request is in the queue and not yet processed. KYC, or know your customer: the identity check with ID and proof of address.

Minimum cashout: KES 100, the smallest sum you can withdraw. Daily cap: no more than $10,000 can be withdrawn per day. The currency of your balance is fixed at sign-up, typically KES in Kenya.

Crypto jargon

With 14 coins in the cashier, crypto vocabulary comes in handy. They matter more than with ordinary payments. Crypto payments are covered step by step in a separate guide.

Network: the blockchain on which a coin is sent; sender and receiver must use the same one. Gas fee: the charge the blockchain takes for a transfer. Confirmation is the step that makes a blockchain payment final.

Pegged coin: a coin built to hold a steady value, which keeps price swings out. Deposit address: the destination of a transfer, best copied or scanned, never typed. TXID: the hash that proves a payment was sent, handy when tracing a payment.

Safety vocabulary

A few terms relate to keeping your account safe and accessible. Understanding them helps you protect your account. How to recognise the real address is explained in the official website guide.

2FA: two-factor authentication, a second login step on top of the password. Official domain: the address the operator itself publishes. A phishing attack imitates the casino to steal your password.

Responsible gaming terms

A time-out blocks access for a chosen short period. Deposit cap: the most you allow yourself to deposit over a period. Reality check: a timed message about the length of the session.
